How to find a job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Dentist?

Many dentists especially from countries like Pakistan, India, Egypt, Sudan, and other countries are facing issues like low salaries, fewer jobs, increasing competition, and worsening of economic conditions. Therefore, these days every Dentist wants to pursue a better career abroad. Dubai was initially the favorite destination for dentists due to its strong economy, but now the Dubai market is saturated for dentists, and hard to find any good job opportunities. Though the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is also saturated, there is still some space for overseas dentists in private practices especially in remote areas.

In this blog, we will share 8 ways how you can find a job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as a Dentist.

LinkedIn / Indeed Dentist Jobs

You can follow LinkedIn or Indeed websites for Dentist job offers. Big dental centers/companies announce vacancies through their official LinkedIn page, so if you are looking for a job don’t forget to create an account on LinkedIn or similar websites and turn your notifications alerts on. Make sure your profile matches your professional record.

WhatsApp Dentist Job Groups

There are WhatsApp groups mostly made by recruiters where they keep on posting for new dental job offers. But beware of fake people. Never send any money for job offer letters mostly it is a scam.

Facebook/Telegram Dentist Job Groups/Pages

There are many Telegram and Facebook groups mostly made by recruiters where they keep on posting for new dental job offers. You can follow the Official pages of big dental companies in Saudi Arabia where they regularly announce vacancies.
Here are some big dental groups in KSA:
Al Muhaidib Dental Group – المهيدب لطب الاسنان, Safwat Al-Muhaidib – صفوة المهيدب, AlMeswak Medical Group, My Clinic KSA, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Ajaji Dental Polyclinics, Magrabi Health and more

Pro Tip: Most of the big dental groups in KSA have Egyptian HR and do not have good reputations in terms of salaries and work. Before joining any dental company, it is better to have a recommendation from a colleague who already worked or is currently working in that company to know all the pros and cons of that dental company.

Reference Jobs by colleagues

You can get a job through your colleagues if they are already working in a good company and they recommend their HR to hire you if there is any vacancy related to you.

Dentist jobs by Recruitment companies

You can check your local recruitment companies if they have any good job offers for you. Make sure the recruiter you select has a good track history and is regulated by the Government. It is better to get other doctors’ recommendations who have already gone through similar recruiters before. Recruiters mostly charge one-third to one-half of your first salary amount. If you follow our blog do simple steps of SCFHS Registration, Data Flow, and apply to jobs yourself you can save a lot of hard-earned money. Recruiters only help you to find a job but later on, when you are inside KSA and you have any problem with your employer they cannot help you anyway. So, our recommendation is to try hard to find a job yourself and save your money.

Direct application by personally visiting clinics on a visit visa

If you have some finances, you can personally visit dental clinics in KSA, meet with clinic managers or medical directors, and drop your resume directly. This is a bit expensive option but it increases chances of getting a good job.

Direct application to dental clinics via social media communication

Searching for a job with Google Maps is another option. You can select your desired city in Google Maps in which you want to work. Then write “dental clinic”, “طب الاسنان” or a similar word in a Google map search, and all the dental clinics in that area will appear. Then one by one you can follow the Dental clinic’s social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and WhatsApp and directly message your resume to the clinic.

Nowadays, this way of communication is faster and more effective in getting a response than traditional ways of job application.

Direct application to dental clinics via email communication

You can search famous dental hospitals or clinics on Google. Open their websites and check out the “careers” page or “jobs” page on their website. You can also send your resume for a job by email which is available on the website’s Contact Us page. But for Arab countries, this way of getting a job is less successful. As mostly HR of small dental clinics or companies don’t bother to check or reply to emails, especially if the email is sent in English.
